Its Jr's first year in football. Its full contact hes only 7 and holy crap they dont mess around lol. They practice 4 nights a week 2 1/2 hours a day and games every saturday. Is it just me or doesn't that seem like a lot for a 7 year old?

It'll toughen him up. We used to play full contact in first grade on the playground, and that was without pads. Just remember, kids have softer bones, so the flex a bit more instead of break. Didn't you play rough as a kid too?

How is he handling it?

My 10 year old is going in to his third regular season, he has also played two indoor arena seasons. He plays for the Long Island Sound Sharks, practice is three nights a week with games on Sundays. Full contact, full equipment, he loves it! He loves playing linebacker and laying the smackdown on someone, lol.

Ya he loves it. They look like lil nfl players haha. Yea I played hard as a kid I broke my collar bone playing football at school when I was like 11.
