I missed the originial airing of the 12-3 show but I managed to catch the rerun last night. All I can say is WTFBLUEBEAR?!?!? He had a once in a lifetime chance to build his own hot rod while being paid to do it and he goes and screws it up because of a boxed frame! LMAO! He didn't want to box the frame because it would have looked ugly. Boyd and Bluebear must have had a LOT of history for Boyd to put up with that much crap!!!

What I really don't understand is Bluebear has been with Boyd for a while and he has been part of at least 10 builds (that I've watch) so Bluebear knows or should know how to put a car together safely and the proper way to go about getting things ready. He was half assing damn near everything on his car. You couldn't pay me enough to take a ride in that car.

He is an idiot. I haven't seen the last episode 12-3, but I saw the other 2 and he just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper. Its a free car just do what the boss says! I'm still not sure how he's going to fit into it (because of the huge chop).

Actually, the point is for him to do it his way. He's been there for a long time. He's helped on a lot of builds. He should know how to do it. Unfortunately he is showing that he has no clue how to build a car right. Maybe it's the editing, but he seems to have no organization. And seems to find the most hacked way of doing things. He may finish first, but it'll be a deathtrap. I missed Friday's episode so I don't know what progress has been made. I guess you can chalk it up to him just being a kid. But I wouldn't want him working on my hotrod.

And who else here thinks Duane is a peepee?

You didn't miss much Candyman. The only progress they made was boxing the frame in. But that was after Boyd sent Bluebear home for the day. Boyd called him back the next day to come in and try to settle things but he ended up letting Bluebear go. Boyd canned the entire build off. However Mike and the guys who were helping Bluebear are trying to revive the build off. They only have 8 days and nights to get something together. Should be interesting.

Oh yeah....Duane is a peepee.

i have wached all the shows bluebear is the must dummest person on there and he can't build anything and he got what he deciverd in the end and boyd should have never took his attund and as for as boxxing the frame in it is a lot safer then that reatly frame he had (i would never ride in it) curtis

Bluebear and Duane are idiots. Duane knows some stuff about rods though, but hes an butthead. I dont really watch that show anymore. Always an argument. But yet i still watch american chopper because Paul SR. arguments are hilarious!

BTW, Why in the hell is his Nickname Bluebear?!

yea what a dumbass i would have listened to the person paying for it.. i get the point it was his car but he wasn't in the hot rod bussiness as long as boyd.. just my :2cents:

Yeah, he was pretty dumb to be fired over a safety issue. What's worse is he totally took that job for granted. I'd give anything to work in that shop and learn about the things they do.

It might be long hours, but that's my dream job. Plus Boyd takes into consideration the long hours and morale, so he'll occasionally do things fun like gokarting.

Off subject but do any of you watched Trucks, i havnt seen it in a wile but that and OCC are my favorite shows.

I watch trucks. That's probably the most greatest automotive show ever. That guy is so sick with his work. He does all the work himself and makes some of the nicest trucks i've ever seen. Not to mention he's got some serious offroading skills.

I try to catch Trucks when I can. I still remember when Stacy had a cohost. Not really sure what happened to him.

Who plays Trucks, these days? I haven't seen it in years (back when the co-host was on) and I don't think that it's on the station I used to watch. Is it on Speedchannel, or just whoever decides to run it in a given area?

I'll second the comments about Bluebear not being too bright. He never struck me as the sharpest tool in the shed, before this. It's not everyday Boyd Cottington offers to give you a custom car, that you get to build to your specs, and you get payed while building it.

If Boyd Cottington says box the frame, then you BOX THE FRAME!

i like occ more what show you guys like better truck or american hotrod or american chopper let me know curtis

American Chopper is my Fav. Wish they would have the new episodes more often.

American Hot Rod- Duane is an Ass!. The only one that knows what he's doing is Charlie.

I watch Trucks once in a blue moon. Stacey is pretty cool, Energetic and he knows his stuff. Later
