This is the first time I've used any of the faschange colors. I am worried that I may have done it wrong. I sprayed a coat of Faschange Blue on the inside of my latest creation (in progress) and it has dried with a milky white haze to it. Is that supposed to happen? I know the blue glitter is suspended in a white-ish paint base so I assume this is right. But will my base color show through without all that white? Anyone who's used it let me know.

I used the faschange gold. It too looked milky. The effec doesn't start to show until you back it. Don't spray too many coats of the faaschange. I backed mine with white, so it goes from a goldto a white. The effect is subtle. It is not like the flasflip orthe spazstick stuff.

I used the red on a Micro RS4.
The change is subtle and is dependent on the backing as NC mentioned. Its difficult to see indoors and and seems to need a day or two to mature.

Test it with different color backings before you hit your body. I like to use an empty Coke bottle.

Looks like I went too heavy. I found some info on RadioControlzone about it because that have an awesome painting forum. And it turns out you do have to be really light with it. Because of that, I stripped the coat I put on. And I found that Faskolor comes of really easily with Formula 409 Glass & Surface Cleaner. The shell's clear again...

I'm going to back the Faschange Blue with Fasescent Green to give the green a little blue tinge. I think that will look cool.

Eddie, that's a nice lid.

If CandyMan's lids are anything like the one in his signature, he should go into business. Be like the "Tom Pruit" of R/C. ;)

Good Luck on your creation.

Geez, thanks for the props NR. Being called the "Tom Pruitt" of R/C is going to be tough to live up to. Here's the last one I did. I posted it a while back but it probably got old.

I did not see that one. jeeez! Those look better than ones I've seen for sale. You should paint up some popular shells and sell them on ebay. If I had those skills, I'd capitalize. :D

That's part of the plan! :hehe: I just got a Paasche VL airbrush and have it hooked and ready to go. Plenty of paint. I'm in the process of doing a TVR Speed 6 for my bro to use as his display body. Not sure how long it's going to take. The rest of my world is busy. But I'm plugging away little by little. I'll have pics up as soon as it's ready!!!
