So I got the little 4v li-ion ryobi cordless screwdriver that a couple of guys i know use and the losi 8 in 1 tool to use the bits with it....all i have to say is it worth its weight in gold.....saves so much work but what I'm wondering is do you guys know of a place to get additional single bits in sizes that dont come in the Losi 8 in 1? For example the Losi 8 in 1 doesn't come with 7/32 size, 3mm, or a Phillips #1. Now I found a single replacement 3mm bit on Horizon Hobby but can't seem to find the other two as single repalcements. Only as part of sets.

I'm in Canada so this might not be any help at all. I picked a set of 95 assorted sizes and types of screwdrivers from a chain hardware kind of store called Canadian tire and it had all the hex wrenches and socket drivers I needed for my truck. Best of all they always have crazy sales and I got it for $25. I now have so many screwdrivers I dont know what to do with them.

Lowe's or Home Depot sells single bits. HobbyTown USA sells bits that are common sizes to this hobby. Also Ace Hardware.

none of those places sell single prescion sized bits that have the 1/4inch fast release chuck adapter n the other end. Lowes sells a set of philips with that adapter on it for 15 bucks. I can't find a 7/32 in any kind of bit only in a single driver. I bouht the phillips set not if i could just find a 7/32

Hudys are nice but seems overpriced to me.....still doesn't have 7/32....Its all good though I dotn use that size very often anyway.

Thanks Olds but not quite what I am looking for I want one with a thinner shaft like this http://www.integy.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=5446&p_catid=161

I bought a Losi 8 in 1 kit which has every size I needed except for 7/32, 3mm, and a Philips 0/00. I bought the 3MM bit from Integy as a single and I bought a kit of precision Phillips and slotted bits made by Kobalt from Lowes that has a bunch of sizes in it of Phillips. The slotted I may be able to use around the house once in awhile but the 7/32 is still eluding me. Integy has several large sets of those kinds of bits but I haven’t looked at those because even if there was one with a 7/32 I’m not gonna buy a whole Integy kit just for one size I rarely use. In fact I’m not entirely sure but I think one of the reasons I hardly ever use it may be because 3mm fits it too. I’m not sure about that though, I’m guessing.

For anyone else interested in getting a cordless screwdriver and hex bits I would suggest looking at Integy website first. They have some of the biggest sets of hex bits with the 1/4 inch shanks for the quick release cordless screwdriver chucks. I didn’t realize this when I was trying to get my set put together. If Integy doesn’t have one set with everything you could always go the route that I did. I would also recommend this cordless screwdriver from home depot

That is a superior cordless screw driver (without getting up into this like 129 dollar dewalts lol). It has just about everything you could want and I even bought a second battery for it so I could charge one while I use the other. I was very impressed with how long that little 4v LiIon battery lasts. Almost didn’t need to buy a second battery but the batteries for it are only about 11 bucks.

I thought I would share my experience with trying to put together a kit that takes most of the wrench turning out of building/maintaining your kit because I went through 3 different cordless screwdrivers and had a hard time locating a set of all the bits I need. If I didn’t already have the Losi bits I would have probably went with an Integy set because their bits are a little bit longer than the Losi ones but that’s rarely an issue either but If I was doing it all over and had the choice. Well you get the picture.

Thx Robmob but again thats pretty much the same thing Olds posted and is not like the link I posted showing the type of bit I'm looking for. Appreciate the input though.
