Yeah, that's to far away... To bad we can't do a search somewhere on state for all the members... that would be a nice way to find who's nearby.

you can.. go to the member list then go to advanced search.. they have a "location" box.. as long as they put there real location "not some funny remark" you can search that way..

I really don't know if you're near st. louis or not, but down in MO, there's a very nice track in Kirkwood, MO. They have races every saturday, mostly 1/8 buggies, MT's, and electric buggies and ST's. www.dirtburners.org

I live in springfield and next year I'm going to go to Edwardsville for school, LOL 3 years of college and I change my major and start over. but get this they have a model airplane field ON CAMPUS way cool LOL makes me think about a plane

I'm 75 miles east of st.louis. i found out today the guy that runs my lhs has a homeade track, and they all race buggies, i wanna see run run in person myself. thanks for that link cvec7. an airplane field on campus, sweet..

I believe there's a track in Jacksonville which is a bit west of Springfield. There's a track in the Marion Mall down further south. Those are both probably a bit too far for ya though. I thought there was another around Marion as well. Anyway, go watch the buggies, you'll want one by the time it's over! I used to live in Springfield via Carbondale via Chicago with a Savannah, GA between IL and present local.

hey olds_97lss, i was born and raised in DeKalb then moved to So. Ill. dude i have some vacation time left...(5 days worth). maybe some weekend me and my buddies can come up and do sum bashin' with ya.

we drove 5 hrs. to ride quads at Attica, Ind. I'm sure its not going to kill my friends to drive 5 hrs to do sum bashin'............ then again i have friends that are *******!!! :jk:
