I don't think it's really ABS, it's more of a pulsing brake. Kind of like pumping the brakes in a 1:1. ABS in a real 1:1 checks the tires to see if they are all rotating the same speed or if one has stopped. In the case of one stopping and the others rolling, it lets go of the brake on that wheel to regain control.

My guess is that it would be something more useful on a buggy or on-road than an MT, but anyone who has it would be better at letting you know.

I use the airtronics mx-3 on my savage and my rs4 nitro mt and really like it. What I like most is all the stuff that is displayed in the little lcd screen all the time.

Yes ABS on R/C is a pulsing brake. I use it on my buggy and on the 3pk it can be set many diff. ways like 50% brake or the amount you turn.

"Multi-function timer up/down with lap memory"

this is another feature not listed on the mx-3..........does this mean if i set up a track for my ntc3 it would time my laps as i passed the tx ...that would be way cool :)

Well, actually, you have to hit a button as the car moves passed a point you choose on the track. It's manually done through your input.

ok thats not nearly as cool than

i guess my last question would be if abs works well with touring cars ....will it stop the wheels for locking up if you aply full brakes? does anyone have / like it

thanks all for your help

depends on how you set it up.....you can make it apply full brake for a certiain amount of time then start pulsing....and you can set the speed and duration of the pulse....I believe the 3pk has other ABS tuning features as well... I just use the 3PM and it has a ton of options I don't even use...but the brake setup is definately one I do.....
OOps I thought the ads were for the 3pk......I thought the 3pm gave the most bang for the buck....I use the crystals and have 8 channels I keep in my box......I'm not sold on synth freqs yet.....seen too many glitches on friends JRx3 to trust the technology yet
my :2cents:
