Anyone think these are worth it? i picked up the link from a diffrent post here- And was really curious. Winter is coming, and I am alredy thinking about a new engine for my HPI. Would it only work with trucks, or do you think I could mod out myy on-road to fit em?

i seen them in some videos before. I dont think you could get em on a on-road, as they are ment for trucks. Other than that, they seem to make the truck handle well in the snow with them on. Just make sure to make it rear wheel drive only! lol.

Something tells me the Revo will be seeing snow in the winter!

I see panther tire makes a kit for snow, but its a paddle tire and a skinny lipped tire. It got good reviews. I was thinking bout that. I dont think the skis would work to well. Esp. if the bottom is smooth. Cuz on snowmobiles, theres wear rods, (Which is a rod with carbon in it to grip so you can turn and stear) So without that I think its just go straight with turned ski's.

Btw, dude your from Texas..lol.. Texas doesn't even get snow do they?

lol. I don't know about H-town, But I am planning on spending MY winter up in good ole' Gun Barrel City, Texas- Last year we got almost a foot of snow.

It looks like it saw snow last winter. lol
That's not mine!! I snagged that pic off their website. I just got mine from the lottery last week! .... lol

I would just get a remote snowmobile. I here they are pretty awesome. I am very fortunate where I race we have a covered track so we can race in the winter. In fact we get alot more turn out in our winter racing.

i kinda want a snowmobile. Because think of how easy it would be to make a track and race them and stuff. You could build a jump in like 5-10 minutes without spending a penny on wood, nails, or tools. OR better yet, make a whole race course!

Yeah here in Mn. a foot of snow is considered a "Dusting".

But again, with the smooth flat bottoms of these ski's, I dont think it would work. Nothing to catch and steer. Kinda looks like another gimmick to me.

I think the most I have ever seen was like a foot and a half, And THAT was pushed riiight up against a trailer, in the shadowy area, and I think there mighta been a couple doggs sleepin under it...

:OT: Whoever that is in the window, It's creepin me out... makes me feel like she is watching me....MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!!

Its my wife, and 4 day old baby. Its hard to tell from the pic, but the bank at the begining of the driveway is taller then I was and I'm about 5'8.

HAHAHAHA, didn't even notice there was someone in the window! Come to think of it, looks a bit creepy (not the wife but seeing an image int he window). Does the house say "Get out" when you first come in, or is that the wife telling you to clean your shoes first?
