Anybody tried dr10 to run on oval?

I picked up two dr10 associated reasonably cheap, but I'm not a drag racer, much rather use on oval, most obvious difference is an inch longer wheel base, has anybody tried this with any luck, watching videos on the street stocks a little longer vehicle wouldn't hurt, whats your thoughts, living on a budget. Brushless systems came installed.

The DR10 has the same wheel base as the Slash, and it has been setup in lots of forms.

The DR10 is basically a Pro2 SC10 short course truck with buggy arms, or you can think of the DR10 as a stretched out RB10. You are going to have to decide on the length/width you want to go with for the style of body you'll be using. Some typical oval bodies are buggy based while others are for short course chassis based on what I know.
