Anybody running an SH .21 buggy engine??

I have this SH .21 buggy engine I bought from Hobby People. It has about 3 gallons through it. Anyway, when I tune it for max power, the temps tend to run around 260 to 280 (hits 280 when near the end of the tank). It has lots of smoke blowing so I don't think I'm running her lean. Anyway, I wanted to get some other folk's observation on what temp the SH's run at max power.

i am using a prp 21 in my buggy.and its suppose to be made by sh..and it wont make power untill about 260 or so then heats up when its about out of fuel..so sounds pretty normal

You guys are spot on with your temps. The SH race mill like to run hot and don't run worth a damn if they are not hot. Some people say SH=Super Hot
