Alright I'll see what I can do / help with, with my experience from testing radio(un)link problematic radios.
If the radio has it, what is the rssi and/or signal strength values? How far away are you from the car when you get run aways? Is it due to signal drop or loss? Look at the RX voltage, is the voltage dipping? If so maybe hook up a cell checker in the battery to see if the battery has voltage drop issues causing a brownout? Look at servo wires and esc wires going into the Rx, especially the signal wires, are they intact? Are you sure you have failsafe set up correctly and working? Do you have the recent firmware update or a reflash of a firmware?
I don't have a mt12 myself I'm just using resources I see from different people and what my buddies tell me. Cause they never ran into these issues with their radiomaster radios.
Or you would probably get the same, or better information if you posted in 1 or multiple of the radiomaster/mt12 help groups on FB.
