That looks awesome! Do you mind sharing what electronics you are running?
Sorry for the super late reply, but I have the HW max 4 combo with the 560kv motor. For the steering servo I have a single hitec D845WP, and for the mechanical brakes I’m using a hitec DB961WP 20mm servo. Using a Futaba receiver and transmitter.

Hitec D845WP
Hitec DB961WP 20mm,

Which body did you end up going for? What a machine!

You caved??!? I thought you were stronger than that?!?

Excited to see what comes of it anyways!

Very cool looking rig but personally I wouldn't bother with it.
All aluminum is extremely heavy, ask me how I know. I couldn't get a decent speed out of my
baja 5b all aluminum if I wanted.
Aluminum a-arms are the worst, they bend on a hard hit and don't recover like plastic.
The price tag on that is absolutely ridiculous.
It's a expensive shelf queen, my baja started that way but it didn't fit on a shelf and too damn heavy to get it there.
Are you seriously trying to compare a Baja to a Mecatech completely different leagues mate.

Ones built to be cheap and used off road and the others a track built work of art. I'm ordering a Mecatech tomorrow. They are not shelf queen's they are built for high performance and racing.

The price tag isn't ridiculous when you look at the work that goes into building them.

Not at all, exactly why I said "personally". It's a matter of opinion.

You should have a look at them mate. My MCD xr5 weighs 19kg which is crazy. I need to try soft Cardinal Racing tyres on it. With their medium ones all it wants to do is go sideways everywhere 🤣

I've completely lost interest in RC honestly.
I'm only here for the "what you eating" thread. :D
That and I've grown accustomed to these escaped convicts around here.
Some day I might build a Traxxas Pro Sand car.

It will come back around. It's like a pesky mosquito buzzing around my ear when I'm trying to sleep.
No matter what I do, it comes back around. :D
