Any linux users here?

A while ago I partitioned my hard drive and loaded ubuntu 8.1 on it. I really have no idea what I'm doing, just trying to learn things. Any how, I down loaded a game but have no idea how to load it into the system. Any one here that can offer me a clue?

Probably batch it in... been a while since i played with ubuntu and such... 2 years ago i could have given you some direct coded batch comands to get you done but usually you can just

sudo-install getapp then the file name and it may help but like i said my linux skills are rusty

what game is it>?

Its code red, I got it from file planet I think. I have it sitting on my desk top, just not sure how to install.

lol,it seems like Linux is nothing but trouble.

Would love to give a screen shot but now it won't connect with the wireless router. For some reason ubuntu has been hit and miss with the wireless connection.
