Anti Christ Ready For Flight

Rear view. I added an additional large spacer in each shock.

Front view. I added a narrow spacer to the shocks.

Top view. You can see the cut out that used to be covered by an air scoop. The scoop cost like $5 on fleabay and lasted, hmmm Sky M&M what about, 2 tanks of fuel. The lid itself has reached it's end but if things go sour I don't want to waste a perfectly good lid.

You can see my modified air filter. I also added a skid plate on top of the monster.

Boy that skid plate really stands out on top of the engine...

Why would I be afraid of the lower a-arms getting ripped off?

From the insane jump you are going to make and land. I am thinking that the landing from that high could break your loweror upper orboth arms off.

Hey EP, can I play the guy that says "Houston.......we have a problem" ? The angle of the corner will have you going pretty much vertical. So I see you going up, but not out. What's your plan ?

I do agree there will be more vertical than I want but when I walked it last week the gears of the possible started clicking.

I think there will be enough forward to make it hit the grass.

Hey El that is one bad a$$ looking buggy. I don't think it matters what happens off the jump, no matter what it will make great vid. Can't wait to see it. You need to mount one of those little cams on the buggy to get the birds eye veiw.

i had to replace my chassis and "repair" (using a hammer) both my center dogbones which bent due the the chassis flexing beyond reason on an almost exact jump i did at my bmx track, landed rubber side down..but the impact was so hard it made the buggy flip back off the ground about 4 feet. for me it didnt cost much as the xterminator chassis only cosy 35$, and i have a feeling el p's anti christ will beable to take more abuse than the xtm did. BTW elp what pipe is that you are running? it looks huge...probably helps that .27 breath.

I've already done the hammer fix to a drive shaft. It actually worked really well and is still going strong after 5 gallons of fuel.

As far as a video goes, I'd guess within the week following the bash it should be ready. I'll probably make 2 or 3 videos from the bash. If for some reason someone is able to talk some sense into me about making that jump I know I can always bring a sheet of plywood against my truck and find something cool to jump.

Oh, the pipe is a creation Error and I made. It was a .40 helo pipe that Error and I modified specifically for this engine.

i think you should be a bit careful with that air filter holder it looks like it could very easily break in a bad landing and the engine injest some dust

The air filter assembly is just a standard kyosho filter assembly without the dust cover I actually like these filter setups better than others on the market. Super high flow and the filter element can be changed in seconds if it gets dirty.
