Another baja.. build/resurrection

Buddy of mine talked me into it again... had to do it.. he had a few and was selling one so I grabbed it cheap!! My new ro me hpi baja 5b.. with some goodies!!
So far what I know is it's a original hpi baja 5b with a fresh g290, 990 modified carb, ddm dominator v2

My buddy was real upset when I sold my last baja with esp race ported g320 so I made him a promise I can't break. He really did me good on it. It only needs a throttle servo atm. Any suggestions?

That's awesome nice score. A good servo would be 100+..not sure what price range you are looking at. But really can't go wrong with Savox or reef, hightec, futaba. They even have some cheaper good strong ones on Amazon if you want. Just want to look for a higher kg rating. 25kg and above would be good. Or look at the toruqe rating oz-in lbs.. I would say 350 and above would be good...

Baja finaly arrived and I got to work right away tearing it down and cleaning it servicing and tying her up, I found to be missing only a very few things.. she cleans up nice and I can't wait to get some runtime!! Before and after pics..

Had to order a few things but nothing crazy. The person who had this before me aparently raced it and actually added some pretty neat things to it. Things I had never seen on a baja. And I've had a few. I'm diggin it so far

I was thinking of doing a big bore build with this baja can anyone tell me what I would need to toughen up the drivetrain for let's say, a rcmaxx 40-46cc big bore.. my buddy has a 46gt and it's insane and I've seen vids of the 40cc and I think that's plenty for me . Any help with big bore builds would be great thanks

Toying with ideas.. got this cage off a buddy and debating whether or not I like it. Waiting on wheel.extensions, cage mounting kit, and servos

Today I received the mounting for the cage and my 1" wheel extensions. 1" didn't seem to do.much so i may try 2". Also debating whether I should get the Max bumper or leave it like this I don't really like the heavy steel parts part but I guess with a big bore eventually it won't matter lol
