1926 Snow Tractor. Talk about ingenuity!
This is a 1926 silent film (on video) of a tractor-snow-machine invented by Henry Ford, shown here driving it.
It's long (10 Minutes), but well worth seeing.
Any volunteers to build one in scale?

Even by today's standards, a dedicated machine with that type of drive would be amazing. That was an old tractor pulling 20 TONS in snow.

It might not bee too hard to make something of the sort with electric....and it is pretty cool. Just another example of cool things just never making it to production.

I wondered the same thing. Maybe if it failed people would remember the car, not the driver.
