I figured it wouldn't be that good but I've never seen one
There was one in an rc mag years ago. The put 2 threaded 90° nipples, one hig and one low. They put a piece of fuel tubing between the two and the was a diy fuel gauge. This was a silver one in 06 or so.

I never used one, just figured I would share.

I had a "Hurricane Nitro" (I think) one on my t-maxx many years ago. I kept cracking the fuel tank on that thing. Ended up being because I ran RPM towers and 4 shock setup (vs 8) and rear crash landings would bend the tower into the tank.

The Hurricane tank had 2 problems:
  1. couldn't see the fuel level.
  2. it used a threaded cap that was also aluminum. So every time you took the cap off and put it on, it would slowly grind away at the threads that ended up galling the threads, making them bind and the filings ended up in the tank...
I ended up running an OFNA 125cc tank relocated to the front of the truck. lol!
