Alum Diff Housing?

I AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDIN ALUM DIFF HOUSINGS FOR MY x THE .21&.25 R NOT THE SAME?:surrender

the 21 and the 25 are the same it's the Savage X that are different.

I know of a person that actually mounted the X SS alum diff cups into the older savage diff housing. They're a direct fit.

Now, as for the diff casing, it's a completely different setup between the X and non-X. Changing between the two styles requires shock towers, bulkheads, and arms. Pretty much the entire front/rear end almost has to be changed out.

Are you talking about the diff cups that bolt to the ring gear or the diff case that the entire diff goes into and the shock tower bolts to?
