You're killing me Tom! That looks great! Me and my boys just picked up 500' of 4" corrugated pipe, layed out our track, and a bear tore it all up before we could even get it done, so we gotta start it over. I'm gonna have to figure out a way to make it bear proof, lol.
You and the boys have to wash your hands AFTER eating those gooey peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Tom, we have Florida black bears here, it's dragging the pipe all over the yard, I am going to try staking it down somehow. We had cleared the land and had just started on the layout so that I would know exactly how much brush killer I need to spray and exactly where I needed to spray, once we get it all laid out I will figure out how much clay I will need to bring in since all we have here is sand. Anyway, don't want to jack your thread, just hope our track ends up looking as nice as yours.

Not jacking my thread at all bro! I use the 8 inch galvanized nails from lowes to stake mine down. If you have really loose ground you may want to go 10 inch. This holds things down pretty well. The wind blows mine around quite a bit if I don't stake mine down.

when is the brake in party? i only have a small dakota twk. so it wont hold much beer.

Thanks guys,

I am putting some more clay down tonight in a spot that needs it... but it is ready to roll. I'm probably harder on myself than I should be... but I think for a one man show I did alright. I'm not going to be getting any track building job offers but this will work for what I need.

The party starts as soon as I convince the wife its a great idea! :D

WHAT? didnt you make her a truck to run? shame on you.

I tried that approach with her......didn't work. Then I told her I could charge admission....but I can't bring myself to do it.....I built it to have fun.
