Maybe even whittle out some floats.
For the guys that aren't sure what that is, it's short take off and landing.

There was a guy from Tom's Hobby in Chelmsford Ma who used to fly a sea plane in front of our place on Lake Winnipesaukee. He was an amazing pilot. He would pull up in his boat, fire up the plane and drop it in the water for flight.
I could have watched him fly that thing all day!
