Looks great Eddy! Let us know how u like the new VZ engine. Do u have an RZ? curious as to the power diff. Nitromaniac is gonna meet me at my LHS in about an hour to pick up the last Storm ARR kit. He is putting the OS .21RG in it. the storm community grows - now u need a TTR EB-4, lol.

by the way - its break this thing in, not brake this thing in,lol.

I'm glad no one commented on my poopy paint job:thumbup:
If I had any real friends they would come and take my airbrush away from me.

One hour and counting until I close the shop and start the chore of properly breaking in my ride.

Looks great man! Now we are talkin for the bash!!!!

I just orderred all my Fioroni hopups Yiiiiiiippppppppeeeee!

Too bad you will smoke my ass with that mill! Great job man! And the paintjob wasn't THAT bad!

lol

LOL Yes it is!
Got through the first tank and its cooling off now.
It took quite a bit to get it going. The book said 3 turns and it wouldnt even think of starting till 2. This thing is so tight it puts nuns to shame.

I am assuming you are talking about the needle settings?

Got 4 tanks in today and its running on its own. This thing is scary fast even during break in. Yes the HSN is now set at about 1-3/4 turns and will most likely go to 1-1/2 for a while. The HSN seems real sensitive.

Its dark now and I will have to run 3-4 more tanks tomorrow.

All the nuns I know ar... (*slap!*)

Now that ya mention the paint job we have to go back and study the picture for your perceived imperfections. I can't paint for poop either so the glass houses theory.

Looks good Eddy!

That Storm looks awesome. And good job on the paint. 100 times better then any of mine.

How are those pro-line knuckles? My buggy came with the crimefighters. But I think the knuckle would be a better all around tire. What do you think?

Anyway, great job.

Tex

pro-line knuckles (hard compound) are great bashing tires. they last forever -- even on the pavement. i made the mistake of buying my tires before i checked out the track. for racing, you want to keep your options open. right now i'm stuck with a $60 pair of knuckles that tend to load up with dirt and not hook up as well as other treads on the track.

nice job. the paint job looks pretty damn good. it's hard to appriciate a good flames and until you've tried to draw some. that takes talent.

So I take it I will be painting your next body? Be sure to shoo goo up front where the thin part of the body is cut out around the front shock tower. This will make it so the nose of the body doesn't just break off.

one thing Eddy and take it as just my opinion, get something different in the filter department, MS just are not good for buggies IMO.

Smack me around a bit but I'm using Traxxas fuel. Its all I can get at this point.

I would love to answer the tire question but I have no experience with them or any other buggy tire.

Trust me on the paint job the photos make it look much better than it is. I will use some Zap-A-Dab-A-Goo on the nose of the body.

HB, If you don't paint my next body I'm going to log on as you and make sure you get ban for good. :ninja:

I'm hoping to get a few more tanks in tonight.

Very nice Eddy!!!! And if you think thats a poopy paint job, wait till you see my storm!

Did the engine come with an extra shim? I have read where alot of guys that run the extra shim are getting more life out of their engine. The guys that did not use the extra shim are getting about 1-2 gals per p/s. Just something you may want to think about.
