Scary future

I'm not there much. Only on occasions when I need a bit of info. This is where I pitch in.

Good to hear you've gotten into the RF sim. It's the best I've found.
If you can fly on that, you can fly on the field. Keep practicing.

Rolex,

Big-Thanks man, Mucho Gracias Señor. I'm very appreciative of your helpful nature.

Yeah, RF 6.5 is great, with the latest update, I even have a Heli-Max 1SQ to practice with. Smile

I still can't believe I have a TRex 700E DFC HV...
It should be a lot of dangerous Fun!

Thanks for your guidance and kind sharing of your models and experience.
I know that's what these Forums are for, but sometimes that thought gets way off track.

Be well and take good care.

Took the advice of experienced

So you're doing a 700 for your first heli? :whhooo: Wow, I wish and the bank account the best of luck my friend. I highly recommend as others have, a good sim, and also a much cheaper beater heli to learn on before you maiden the 700.

Hi,
So how are your heli/quad builds going? Always enjoy your build threads.
I've been practicing on my RF 6.5 quite a bit, it's been fun.
Yeah well, I finally bought my tiny Blade just yesterday.
Needless to say, it's a learning curve all over again, but with the previous quads and SIM practice, it's coming along pretty fair. I'm finally using my DX8.
As of yet, I have only one battery for it, so it's SIM and quads to fly between charges. I'll have to acquire a few more batteries for this heli, but hopefully ones with a little longer flight time aloft...

Thanks

Chas

They're going well, thanks. I just finished up an acro quad build that's a ton of fun to fly, and I've been trying to fly every day after work weather permitting. I'd like to have one of the MCP X BL models, but I have the 130x for smaller areas so that's good enough for now. I flew the 130 and 450 for the first time in a long time a couple weeks ago, I'd about forgotten how to fly them. :D

Awesome fliers

You should try to keep practiced with all of your running models, occasionally.
Yeah, these little heli's are a lot of fun & giving me plenty to look forward about. I can already invision my first successful TRex 700E event... with only happy landings of course.

I'm only hovering around with this Blade so far, but give me a few days and let a bit more water evaporate from the near fields...

Yes the really big fun has only just begun here. I still enjoy plenty of excitement flying with my 4 quads as well. Being too, that I so far, have only one battery for my mCP X...
Between battery charges, I'm flying quads.
Speaking of being well practiced, I shall likely get my much loved Savage X up and running this week end.

TRex 700E Build is nearly completed.

I only need to glue the bearings on my torque tube and get it situated in the tail boom, screw on the tail rotor head.
Deliberation: I'm debating whether to put three bearings in the boom, or just the standard two?

For my orientation practice sake and all out micro fun, by having the second battery for my , it gives me longer flight time and twice the practice, so it was well worth the bother to go purchase.

A "pocket sized charger" would be fun, too bad there aren't any suitable for our RC flying needs.
