so i sold my modded xbox and went out and bought 2 air hogs helis. my 5 yr old son and i have had more fun with these cheap little toys. we have contests to see who can get them to land on different things around the house. i've been trying to get mine to land on the ceiling fan and thats a tough one. battey life sucks but what do you expect for $30. but if i can get my son interested into rc that is all that matters. plus we are having fun together. and the wife is not pist either. can't wait to get a outdoor heli and have some fun.

For me heli's have been the most addictive rc's of all...I think it's because I suck at flying LOL

I can get close to landing on it. He wanted the ones that shoot bullets but they were all sold out. And knowing him he would've shot me in the eye. Has anyone tried the change the battery in one of these?

When you get tired of these (and you will - mostly because the interface is the pits - BTDT), you need to get the $100 indoor helo.... They are The Bomb!!! Gyro controlled so they fly real steady... You won't regret it...

Omg my wife would kill me if I ever come home. with that Rolex. but that would be awesome.

at least you could get your air hog heli to fly, i couldn't get mine to fly straight to save my life, i guess i'll just have to wait till summer so i can take out my big one

Rob, you just need to visit your lhs and pick up a nice little electric micro chopper.

I also have one. It got pretty boring though pretty fast so I let the kid play with it now lol.

I'm looking at the Blade mSR instead of the mCX for more of a challenge since I can already do some basic hovering and turning with a coax.
