Keep blowing out owb only got 20 minutes on last.Smoked the stock clutch & hub bearings All in the first 15 tanks! I put a alum clutch shoes now and then the owb goes out ....twice! I'm going to put in another . Tried sanding shaft and cleaning owb real good.(werent that dirty to start)Stll slips right away.Ill go get another owb in the morning. Anyone else having owb issues? This truck is new & has a tuned pipe.Pulls wheelies all day long.Till the thing breaks down AGAIN!
Acewelderman. Aftershock mach 26 lst mach26 dura cracks tr-x 27.
ANY ideas would be great! Thank you

Thanks for the help! I looked into upgrading to the lst spur gearWRONG! I looked at the parts and this is NOT an upgrade. The bearing is the exact same one in my aftershock FACT! Just replaced the owb again! & shes moving again.
I really thought I had found a good site for help with my trucks BUT...after NO help and ONE guy giving WRONG info this place SUCKS! Before you cry about me go look for your selves! same part # stamped in the bearing ....NOT AN UPGRADE EVER! Took less time to go fish out all the answers than to get one wrong answer from your so called help forum!

The "upgrade" isn't the bearing, it's the assembly for the two speed. The aftershock one is weak on the smaller 2nd gear and warps when running higher power engines than stock. The LST1/2 version does not warp the same way.

The OWB in mine has been in it for more than 5 gallons. All of which was running an LRP28S3. I had to swap to the LST1/2 version half way through break in because my second gear warped around tank 8 of break in and locked up the two speed since the 2nd gear clutch shoes pushed over the hump and got stuck.

I had found some info about replacing the losi OWB in the two speed of the LST1/2 hub with a boca one way:
http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.aspx?p=product&id=398&n=HF0812

Sanding the shaft the OWB spins on is not a good idea. It only takes a hair of wear to make a OWB slip. On a worn shaft, a new OWB will slip just as much as an old OWB. You may want to replace the shaft as well. LOSB3401

You may want to try and buy the LST2 1st gear hub (with OWB) and spur:
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB3410
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB3420

Then you can try the boca replacement OWB if that one slips on you as well.

I have no clue as to why yours is giving you such fits. I know I take my OWB off and clean it with DA then put a drop of 3-in-1 on it about twice a gallon. Might be why mine isn't giving me problems for so long.

Again here we are! I asked for help w the one way bearing. NOT the two spd OK?? You barked out the hub and the bearing from the lst would fix it.....I cked u out and the same bearing was used in the lst hub as the aftershock. Are you still with me??My 2 speed has workrd fine. Somtimes less is more ok? I have both these trucks plus a tr-x so dont think everyone will not bash tomorrow if you didnt say a word.

The OWB is in the two speed assembly. The only reason I suggested using the LST2 hub was so you could use possibly a higher quality boca brand OWB in place of the losi bearing your having issues with.

Someone here is trying to offer you ALL the variables that might cover your problem. For a brand new member, your attitude has put you directly into the cross hairs. Take a few minutes to read the rules regarding posting and proper behavior here, or you won't be here much longer.
You've found a great site for accurate information, so show a little courtesy to those that have gone out of their way to provide that info and the links.
