Finally the North of England is getting some better weather after our recent bad spells. I'm charging my batteries ready for a day out with my car next week. What should i do to prepare my car after a winters storage, it hasnt been fired up since aorund september because of the weather. Any things i should do to prep it before i start thrashing it again? I have already lubed everything that should be. Brakes have been tightened too. can't wait to have that smell around me again, you know the one of burning fuel and the feel of fumes going in your eyes and making them water whilst refueling.

You should put some after run oil in the engine b4 you start cranking it over incase it is dry. When you crank a dry motor over it causes wear.

Geez, winter's over in North England? It's just kicking in here. It's supposed to be -15F tonight. Well, I'm glad you're going to get some runtime. Just make sure the car's clean. All the bearings are clean and lubed. ARO in the engine. Oil the air filter. Check your transmitter and receiver batteries. Make sure the radio gear is working correctly. Get some nice, fresh nitro and you should be ready to go. Have a ball, man. I'm itching for the drive, but it will be a few months before the snow's gone from here..

Same here damn it. -13F tonight.

Dust all over my revo and t-maxx.
