First thing I would do is start fresh. Make sure that throttle trim is at zero. If that is not the issue, recalibrate your ESC. See if that fixes it. If you don't know how to recalibrate the ESC let us know.

what wicked said, start with the trim set it to zero and then recalibrate the esc. Also you may have to open the "dead zone" or "neutral" up to make it a bit bigger. The smaller the neutral zone is, the smaller the trigger window is for the esc to be in neutral.

Zero is all the way left? Or in the middle?
In the middle. There should be an arrow on the knob and radio housing to indicate zero. Line the arrows or dots up.

I have a Tactic TTX300, I don't see any markings.

My steering is also a little bit goofy, pretty sure that's just because of this... 7 year old tires, maybe I should replace them? 🤷😁

That may be your issue. Turn the throttle knob so the dot is straight up. Then recalibrate your ESC.

I would also set your steering trim at center, then turn the radio and truck on. With everything on, remove your servo horn and re-center it so your wheels are as straight as you can get them. Then adjust your steering trim to dial in your steering.

After that, turn your steering wheel all the way right and hold it there, while turning your Steering Dual Rate knob (far left) to center (line straight up). Still holding your steering full right, turn the dual rate knob up slowly (clockwise) until the wheels stop turning. Then back the dual rate knob off until you see the steering links loosen up. Then let the steering center. Now repeat the process with the steering held all the way left. Turn wheels far left and hold, dual rate knob to zero, rhen turn it clockwise until the steering stops moving, then back it off, just as before.

That knob is called a dual rate knob because when your steering is turned right, it changes the right servobtravel, and when turning left, that knob adjusts the left side servo travel.

This process sets the endpoints on your servo, and will keep you from burning up your servo by trying to turn your steering past the mechanical limits of the steering linkage.

After this is all set, you gotta be mindful to never adjust the knobs.

I'm dumb. However, it is better to not know than to refuse to learn. Ignorance vs stupidity.
Not dumb at all my friend, we all have to start somewhere.
Don't be afraid to ask questions no matter what they are.

Thanks. Also, my knob doesn't go up, rather down. And, how do I recalibrate my ESC?
1. Turn on the transmitter with the throttle at neutral.
2. Turn on the ESC while holding the EZ set button.
3. When the LED blinks red once, pull the trigger to full throttle and hold.
4. When the LED blinks red twice, pull the trigger to full reverse and hold.
5. Release the trigger when the LED on the ESC blinks.

This is just what google told me, kinda. If this doesn't work, look on YouTube for ECX Ruckus Calibration.

Where is EZ set button? Also, I fixed the trim. And, I disassembled it to perform winter maintenance. It's a mess, but it's getting there.
If it's not on the ESC, it should be on the power switch housing.

Wait. You changed out the motor and ESC right? Whatever ESC you have, look in the manual for it or on YT on how to calibrate it.
