Added a brushless motor and now it goes forward on it's own

If it's not on the ESC, it should be on the power switch housing.

Wait. You changed out the motor and ESC right? Whatever ESC you have, look in the manual for it or on YT on how to calibrate it.
Yeah, I changed the esc, but my little brother decided it would be a great idea to rip the power switch of of the wires, so I had to get my hobby store to solder a different switch on. I'll see if I can find a tutorial.

I can't find anything on calibration on the manufacturer's website. It's a GoolRC brushless motor/ESC combo, specifically model number S2435. Any idea? I use a Tactic transmitter and receiver, and that has a manual. The ESC didn't come with an instruction manual.
 
There are a lot of videos on YT for GoolRC stuff. Try looking there and see if you can find anything. If not, I would try to contact them.
