I know I had my slipper probably too tight which was causing the burn up of gears. But for bashing and where I drove it, I didn't want it slipping all the time. I drove in a place where half the time I got good traction and half the time I had no traction.

Besides, I'm a basher. The longer I go between maintenance, the better.

I'm sure the plastic one is lighter anyway, so it may help speed it up a little.
 
Also you can get answers from The Drake himself at www.teamtrinity.com go to tech talk, nitro section and look for thread called Ask the Drake....Also go to the forums on www.thedrake.net...if you just start on pg 1 and read on you will find a plethera of knowledge. If you plan on running the CVR I highly recommend theses

they will ease the potency of that mill and make it way more driveable. I would stick with the 51T spur w/ the 17 on a REALLY tight track.

i had a wrongly moded gearbox.. tried to force in the screws. bad idea. incase that does happen to you trim it with a dremel till it fits . wonder if losi would replace my gear case thing even a half year after i bought it? lol
 
Well I like running ROAR legal. I'll be throwing in a .12 3 port, probably the mugen .12

grrrrrr thats like so much more value for the buck then when i bought it... they should give like a discount to previous drake owners lol
