OK fellas. Let's hear what your Christmas is going to be like. I want everything from the food to the presents. :D

I'll start it.

I'm going to be spending Christmas with my parents, sister and brother in law and their 2 year old boy.

We are going to be having a roast goose with stuffing, with brown potatoes(it's a local thing where you take some small cooked potatoes and roast them in sugar and butter.....uhhm good. :D ) Red cabbage(another local thing. Kinda sweet and sour). Desert is a Risalamande (Danish, after French: Riz à l'amande, more commonly wrote as Ris a la mande with a "'" sign wrote at random places around "a la") Risengrød with whipped cream, vanilla, and chopped almonds, often served with hot or chilled cherry or strawberry sauce. A particular tradition is often associated with eating Risalamande, where a whole almond is mixed into the pudding, and the person who finds it (typically hiding it inside his/her mouth) wins a prize. Usually served at Julefrokost (Christmas lunch) or on Christmas eve and is very popular
(I used Wikipedia for that last one. Wasn't' sure how to explain it properly. )

After dinner we dance around the Christmas tree while singing carols and other season related songs. After that comes the present bonanza. :D

When the young one is put to bed, the rest of us usually enjoy some adult beverages and we often play some board games.

This is all on the evening of the 24th.

nah I'm not doing anything special. tradition kinda died out in my family. all my relatives are in america or canada, so its difficult. i wish i had your kinda christmas...

well, Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year to All!

Bart, Merry Christmas to you and your family as well! Our Christmas is pretty quiet, on Christmas Eve, my wife, daughter (6) and I always go out to a nice restaurant for dinner, tonight, it's Weber Grill, afterwards we come home and just hang out and just before putting my daughter to bed, we all open one small gift we got each other. Then get my daughter to bed and out comes the Vodka and the Santa hat trying to get everything ready for the whole Santa experience for my daughter. Although this year, I have nothing to put together!!!! Wahoo!!!!!. On Christmas day my parents come down from Chicago and I grill steaks I have special cut at the local butcher and since my daughter is their only grandchild (until July) it usually ends up taking hours for her to open gifts! LOL

Most importantly, everyone have a Joyous Holiday Season and please be safe!

We are going to have a Christmas party at my house. First we're gonna eat food. Then we have to show Christmas presentations (Dance, sing, etc.). After that, we get to open our gifts then we party all night :D.

Merry Christmas to all, and have a safe time if you have to travel. Most of all, here's wishin you get what you want, both under the tree and after the kids go to bed!

Ok neat thread.

Tonight we will have late dinner of bar type fare....wings and cheeses and other horse devours. We will serve champagne for those over 14 and sparkling cider for my youngest.

We usually have live music from one or all of my sons and we will listen to some Christmas music (if we start singing and dancing that is when I put the drinks away..;)

Then Christmas morning we will open gifts here and have traditional huge country breakfast. Then we are off to my Sister in laws where the fun begins .....she has children 6 and 3 and we spent most of our Christmas budget on them....it is going to be a blast watching them bury themselves in gifts and paper.

We will eat a dinner there, not sure what she has planned.....kinda hope her husband cooks...LOL.

Then its home to pass out and or play with our toys....for the rest of the week. I shut the company down this time of year......so we can just relax. ;)

Merry Christmas to ALL!!!!

I am staying home alone, I can't stand being with family on any special events or occasion, Ma & Pa will leave me some turkey dinner behind and I got Mr. Jack Daniels waiting to come out of the closet.

This is going to be the best Christmas ever.

Everyone have a safe and wonderful Xmas.

LMFAO! That's Great!

Well I hope everyone has a very merry christmas!

Today I had to work and am pretty burt out form that, plus this cold that is going around my job is starting to hit me pretty good. But tomarrow Ill do the mom and pop thing, then head over to my aunts to do the family ordeal. I have no clue what I'm geting for christmas, I havent told my parents I wanted anything so anything will be a supprise. I want a hpi baja ss so bad my teeth hurt and it keeps me up at night, but beings they got me a revo for my birthday and I've driven it a hole 5 times, I doubt that will happen. My aunt when and screwd up the family thing this year, in years past we would all get echother something, but she came up with the bright idea to do a gift exchange-pool thing, where everyone gets one present. Thats like a cut in income for me lol. But what ever, my joy in christmas comes at the end of the day when the wine starts to flow like water around my aunts then they all have the big family fight, and my grampa calls them all drunks(happens every year and is quite funny if you can emagine an old man looking at his doughters with that look of failure, and says it!). So that will be my christmas, and looks pretty gloomy this year, but non the less I will make the best of it.

Oh and beings this is my first year having a job I spent all kinds of money on gifts for my parents so the look on there face when they open all the stuff will be price-less. I know most of you guys out there that have kid's look forward to that day, when the money starts to come in return. lol.

Anyway like I said may everone have a safe and merry christmas. -xmas-
