A really interesting heli/gyro that I saw today

I went to buy a thing from Craigslist and the guy had this hanging in his garage! I dunno what it is, exactly, but I thought you guys would probably like it.

I think that's a pretty rare item from the early 80s. The .049 engine would take it aloft till it ran out of fuel and then the big blade would counter rotate and let it float back down. Looks like an Airwolf body.

He said you'd fill it up and it would run for about three minutes, during which time it would go in wide circles (no radio) and then do exactly what you said

Yea its an 80's cox air wolf heli. I remember them from when I was a kid. The motor is .049 ci if I remember correctly
