They're showing the regular 24 there.

I don't have an SCX24 anymore, but I wonder if their transmission (Furitek) is required or if it helps shrink the footprint?
Yea. They show the Unity24 with measurements then a Unity Pro. But what is a Unity24 Pro? Lol. It's confusing. I'm guessing you'd need their transmission too, but I would need to figure out the length of the entire unit.

This is the link where I took the screenshot

@OnwardGuinevere
It looks like someone goofed on those product images. The link you posted shows PRO, the listing shows PRO, but the product image says 24. That's definitely confusing. I don't even see the regular Unity offered anymore on Furitek USA.

Looking at the PRO, the new talking point they list is that it's now water proof. Perhaps that's why the case had to grow?

If you don't want to go that route they still offer the Komodo, now in a 2-1

Glad it's not just me being confused by the product info and images. Yea I didn't see the regular unity either. Maybe the waterproof expanded the case like you mentioned. I might just reach out to Furitek and see if they have better measurements, just to be thorough. I did like that with that unity24 pro you get all the electronics in one package, kind of convenient.

I have the micro komodo on my spreadsheet too, along with the mofo rc nanoBAM, and Furitek Cedar.

I have the Micro Komodo, Cedar, and most recently Mini Komodo Unity.
The Unity is my favorite of the 3, and I haven't even changed any settings from factory.
I agree about fitment and measurements - I bought the Unity to put in my AX-24 but the diameter won't let it work, so I put it in my Deadbolt and put the Micro in the AX. I don't think you would be able to use any of them without the mount, it positions the motor towards center (frame clearance) and raises it a bit (driveshaft and link clearance). Also puts the motor to the front, so mods may be required regardless of which you choose.
But wait @OnwardGuinevere , if you choose the Unity, what will you do without all the extra wires?? :hehe:

Room for extra lights and speakers!!!

Maybe I'll put the mini komodo unity on my list too. That also looks promising.
For the chassis, it's built with three different mounting positions for electronics, so depending on where the motor is, I have options. It's been tested with the Furitek Cedar rear mount and komodo front mount. If needed, I could also reach out to the shop I got the chassis and see theore thoughts on the Unity24 Pro too.

I do like the cleanness of less wires (surprising huh?😆). It would be pretty cool to get the Meus sound simulator into it 🤔. Basically what @CertifiedMike said 🤣

I got confirmation the unity 24 pro will work on this chassis, stoked!!

I want to Tim Taylor this build 😄
