Very cool, can't wait to see it...

I think you should do one too .. your work has been killer .. and that was a while ago so i know by now it's even better...
The spider body looked sweet so i know you got more to show off

Thinkig about it .. i have a GT2 body here i was jus gonna paint up with something a little busy so maybe I'll do that write up on that one ... hmm now for a design ...lol

I wish I had the free time to really get into painting again.. I just can't seem to get a few hours to myself lately, and when I do, I'm usually anxious to get out of the house.. lol
With the colder weather comin, I'll likely start up again..
Let me know if you need a hand with the layout of the tutorial and hosting for the pics..

Those lids are sick. Great job!

How long did one of those take? I think I'm really slow at painting. I estimate that I have about 25hrs into my T-Maxx body that I posted a couple days ago. I kinda took the long route as far as technique because I don't have a steady hand.

well then maybe you don't wanta know:D
I liquid masked them all friday
sunday night after letting it dry really well( learned to wait a day to let the mask dry realy well)
I cut the design of the buggy body .. panted it monday after work
then monday night cut the design in the AD2 body painted it tuesday when i got home from work ...Tuesday night cut out the LSt body .. painted it today

No seriously, I'd like to know... total time approx. Believe me, I know I'm slow. I only use liquid mask for certain applications. For any type of designs with long and straight or sweeping lines I outline with pinstripe tape and fill with masking tape. I can't follow a drawn line smoothly with a blade to save my life so I'll never be happy with something that supposed to look like -------- which ends up looking like ----^---^--

Same here
I just start on a piece of paper and then see how it lays out on the body ..
