Just curious. It just seems that many folks that have had the carbon fiber shock towers have ended up upgrading to the 7075 T6 towers.
I understand the differences in material and maybe, depending driving style, landings, etc., one may fare better than the other.
I want to upgrade my stock shock towers but don't want to spend $100 on carbon fiber only to end up spending another $100+ on 7075 replacements. I do also have a Mamba Monster X 8S ESC and a 1717 1650kv motor so curious what others recommendations are on shock tower material for me. What is more likely to last under mild to severe bashing?

Any advice/input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks all.
