I have a lightning pro & was told kyosho 7.5 parts will swap out. Does any body know what parts will change over for hop ups???? I want to keep from buying stuff that won't work.

Does this include a 3.5 mm front shock shaft for a HB Pro 2?
I also need the pivetball end on the bottom of the shock shaft.
This I can find, but the 3.5 mm shock shaft I can't. I've been checking the lhs's, Horizon, and Tower Hobbies.
Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

Thanks I might have looked for HB only at Tower, but I can't be for sure I did it last noght, and I think I still had nitro in my brain. LOL!!!!!!!!
Doe anyone know if these will work in my HB Pro 2's front shocks?

I did my search again and it came up with MP 7.5 shafts due in late may. I'll have to try and find out which, if any will work.
Thanks again:eyepatch:

They don't have any. WTF! I'm about to order the coplete front kit for a Kanai II from Tower. Just browsing a few other things I'v been thinking of first. I try to save a little on shipping when I can.

FEEDBACK:
I put the K2 front shocks on My Lightning Pro 2 last night.
Had to use the Lightning caps. The hole to atatch to the shock tower on the K2's were too small. I suspose they would work with the right hardware.:ponder:
Bottom line-BUGGY IN BUISNESS:dance:
Now, only if it would stop raining.

My LHS doesn't have shocks either. And not too many people have opinions about shocks, I've asked around.

I would love to get a nice set of threaded shocks, with available titanium shafts, that I can use on my Storm and are of good performance. But I have no clue what shocks these might be and the guys at the LHS apparently never replace stock shocks.

I've bent three shock shafts and I want something stronger.

well.. get K2 shocks off ebay.. they come in 3.5mm shafts.. threaded shocks are allright.. i just dont like them.. dirt gets in the grooves.. and strips the sleeve.. and its hard to make sure you got the spacing down the same on both shocks

Those are good points about the threading. I didn't think of that.

Then what non-threaded shocks are well built with strong shafts? =)

Kyosho Kanai shocks.. you can get a whole set off ebey.. for all 4 shocks.. for prolly less than 100 bux.. I'm sure..

They come with the self bleeding cap and everything..

Self bleeding cap?

I think that is a cap with the small hole in the side like the K2 shocks I just installed, and the Lightning Pro 2 caps I put on them, but I was told to fill them untill you can cap them, push the shaft in, and it should only come back out 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Is this not true. Should you fill up, and the "self bleeding cap" takes care of the rest?

The self bleeding cap is what you suggested, the hole on the cap.

It allows the air to escape the shock as you screw on the cap. It's very useful; the GS Storm Pro shocks have these holes and are easy to fill, but the Storm RTR shocks do not. Harder to get all the air out.

When I filled my shocks, I had to leave the piston half way up while I put the shock together or there was too much pressure inside and I'd blow the O rings out when I compressed them. After doing the half way thing, I can compress them completely and they will push back out about a centimeter on their own. Also, when I fulled extend them, they pull back in a few mm. This doesn't have anything to do with the bleeding cap.

Are these any good?

Don't know.
They look differant than the ones I have, but if they are infat Kanai shocks I'd say the census is yes.
