I just bought my 6 year old son an E-Maxx. He has had it for 3 days now, I think he wants to see how much crap he can break lol. Luck for me it has aluminum bumpers because he hasn't got the hang of stopping yet. He had a Stampede and a TLT so he has to adjust to the extra speed....It's been a blast watching him

Thats cool man :) My 6yr old son has a e Rustler and hes the same way crashes into everything lmao

He was doing pretty good with the Revo...All of a sudden he starts hitting everything again LOL. I think it was because he was very excited with his new truck. hopefully he will get used to it soon. There is nothing better than watching him enjoy the hobby I love.

Its a good hobby to get them into young keeps them busy and having a good time

Watching my 6yr old with his Mini T, I'm gonna wait a bit longer before getting him something bigger... lol His steering skills need some work...

It's a good thing he wasn't around when I first got into nitro, he would have an interesting vocabulary LOL

A great trick for the youngsters is to setup their RC with some "Drag Brake". When they let off the throttle it will slow the RC down.

Once they get the hang of the other skills you can re-adjust it for them. It may save a tree or two.

Thats a good idea Eddy, Here is a pic of my son with his rusty, my wife moded the pic and made him and Angel total opposite of him lol :jk:.

Like the beautifull lawn we have, it actually had grass but the boys and I kind of tore it up with our rc,s lmao!

My son had a Tmax 2.5, then a XXX-nt now he has the Mini T. He just likes the little truck. He thinks its cool since its little and fast. I dropped in a Brushless set up once in it and he dug it. He thought the fumes bugged his eyes. I don't blame him! Great to get your kids involved in your hobby. Something for you to do together!
