Just a thought that went through my head
classic black, white to orange flames, chrome tank, aluminum tank straps, and a wood bed

Thanks,
It took me about 4 hours from start to the way you see it

I just love the look of retro rods etc.

I have to ask .... How did you get the Wood effect? That is a really nice paint job...

I took a mix of brown and a few bristles from a brush and dragged the paint very lightly across the the bed then backed the whole thing with a light tan

Very cool idea.... Creativity is what makes these paint jobs shine.... I've been trying different mesh screening lately, & have found some cool effects... Now, if I could only find the time....

thanks all,

I too have been playing around with different looks, hopefully i'll be able to get some of them done soon as well. I just paint whatever comes thru the noodle. i must confess that about half of the ideas i get only go to show how disturbed and disfunctional my brain can be
:help: :help: :D

thanks all,
have a question for any and all.
is there a way to punch louvers in a body, if so how?

The only louvers I've seen on any body were molded in from the factory. If you're thinking of doing it with a punch, there's a very strong possibility that you will stretch the lexan to the point of breaking. I don't think they may punches that small.

I have a jig I used for another project that might work, i fiqured I could heat the lexan and the press the jig to get the shape I need. I'm not too worried about deforming it to much as the body will painted from the outside and I could shape it if needed.

I chopped and sectioned a lexan body out of boredom and if I can get a few kinks worked out I'll post the results.

Hey one thing though is that is not a panal truck,a panal truck is like the body for gravedigger. You might want to change you title. But i love how you got the wood effect and poop, Nice Work:thumbsup:

The only reason I called it a Panel truck is because thats what proline called it on there tags.
Thanks though
