I'm looking to get a 4x4 to put my TRX 2.5 into from my Nitro Sport. There is no control to it caus it is so light. I really just know 2wd trucks. I like Losi and I'm hoping to be able to use 1 of their trucks to put the power plant into. What are some good 4x4 trucks? Would like to use my friends Vanning but its a classic so I dont want to wreck it lol. Vanning is 7lb with OS .21 and that things grips and hauls.

t-maxx for that particular mill, maybe a stampede? I think they are 4x4? not sure.

There was a thread on here where someone did post a Stampede with a 2.5 and it has the same problems I do. lol. Id like to get a Losi before Traxxas. But i do have some losis and traxxas so i would get one too. Is the tmaxx heavier then the Stampede?

I have seen so much stuff for the tmaxx. I have some tmaxx stuff on my nitro sport lol. How are the built? Alot of stuff on my nitro sport is plastic and i dont really like that. My losi has all metal/aluminum chassis. Nitro Sport is like 1/2 metal 1/2 plastic.

The tmaxx has an aluminum chassis with plastic everywhere else.but plenty of bling out there for it. not nessacery though. Its a good truck.

You are very limited for 4x4's that can use a 2.5 engine. A Maxx, HPI MT (stadium truck), Lightning 10 and thats about it. All of the other 4x4's use big blocks. I posted a vid of a Stampede with a 2.5......It was very close to un drivable, much worst than a Rustler. BTW Stampedes are 2wd.

Re tune the suspension on the nitro sport and add weight to the front if necessary

i have a TMaxx Roller with the AcncM Chassis i d sell. has Wide Maxx arms on it, MIP Driveshafts. Stock tranny, FOC installed i believe. Diffs are in good working order ect.
PM me if your interested.

i actualy have to rollers, ones mostly all stock. i d sell all the TMaxx stuff i have as a lot. it would include a Traxxas TQ3 radio system in good working order also.

if you like your nitro sport you could put aluminum parts all around and it will add a little bit of weight and wont do wheelies all of the time. i was going thru the same problem i put a trx 3.3 in a nitro rustler and it only did wheelies but it is a little better now that i got the aluminum parts. you can also go on towerhobbies.com and get the lead weights for it here is the part # lxckt0

I did play around with some weights and got it to drive better but it took alot of weights. Id like to try my hands at a TMaxx.
