4tec tires

Ok, so I know a lot of people don't like 4TECs(Is it just because they are anti traxxas?) ,but I Have recently acquired one and I love it!

Only problem is I will need new tires BAD.
I have foams now, but I was wondering about some rubber tires.

I am only basing it, I like to take high speed runs with lots of traction, but I like being able to put it into a sideways slide like with the foams.

What are good rubber tires for a traxxas 4TEC?
The black top I am running on is tearing these foams up by the chunk.

I like these on my RS4, I dont see why they wouldnt fit the 4tec. Pre-glued and I haven't had a problem with them coming off. http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=DYN7950

yea no problem. My lhs sells them for $20 for all four. They last a decent amount of time. They've got foam inserts and will give you traction but you can still get some sick slides going.

If that's really what you want, ABS RIMS! Definitely the best for drifting, if that's what you are looking for. ABS piping provides grip and slides. PVC piping is only for drifting with no grip at all. I run ABS and they are BEAST!

Is that just ABS tubing like the sections you can get at lowes?
I'm very new to the entire Onroad thing..

Yup. It's ABS piping cut 2" inside diameter by 27mm (Extra mm to protect rim). The corners are rounded also so it won't hit into any rocks and flip over. I definitely recommend getting the ChokuWingStars because you get 16 for $10.50 shipped while getting Sushi's for 12 for $12.00 shipped. Also, ChokuWingStars are the best ABS tires compared to all the others. But remember, ABS is best for DRIFTING, not like on-road racing. But still, if you ever get the feeling for drifting, get some drift tires .
