Hey everyone I'm not sure if anyone else is having the same thing but I get about 90% of the rocks I drive over stuck inside the steering linkages to the point it binds the steering causing you to smash the curb thinking it's an electric issue... so I bought another stock one only for the same thing but no curb. I only got 300 in the 2 of them so I want to keep them but I can't drive in a parking lot or anywhere else witougjt cleaning it every 3 or 4 minutes. Anyone know of some sort of cover for the belcrank area or drive shaft? I saw some fender liners from dinky rc but they don't look like they fit very well. Any help is appreciated. These cars are kinda fast and I don't wanna smash em upl for something stupid.

Same issue with my maxx, which is an offroad RC. I don't like the traxxas beehive chassis design, it might weigh little from the factory, but very soon it's full of rocks

I have the new stampede. It seems they figured out a way to avoid it on that one at least

My driveway unfortunately is not an option. I got some super thin plastic I'm trying to figure out some sort of cover or shim to fill the low spots under the linkage. All I know is I got to figure something out because they're basically useless to me right now. May just have to stick to off road

Tamiya figured out how to keep dust and rocks out decades ago.

Unless if Traxxas offers a lexan cover, I'd look into cutting up a scrap 1:10 buggy shell, or just any spare plastic sitting around. Inner "fenders" can be made with plastic or rubber. My Traxxas Rally (basically a Slash 4x4) had these problems too.
