New build going in progress. Still working out some of the detail was I go. I picked up a Trail Honcho SCX10.2 earlier the summer new in the box with battery for a steel.... less than the raw builders kit I was looking at. I decided I wanted to try my hand a rebuild.... so here's what I've came up with so far.... Pro-line 46 Power Wagon body. Incisions drive shafts, steel links, front axel shafts, and trans gear set. Hobbywing Axe 28800kv. Holmes Hobbies SHV500v3 servo. Robinson Racing 56T gear and 12t pinion. Yeah 90mm Desert Lizard shocks. Pro-line dually wheel set. Still haven't chosen which tires to use yet.... just some spares I had laying around for now. Also waiting on steel front and rear bumpers. Trying to make my own metal lower rock plates and sliders to protect the running boards. Now to pick a color. Hope this all posts ok Thanks for looking..... Chris Statz

You weren't kidding about a rebuild! Looking forward to seeing her all finished up. :thumbs-up:
Hadn't really planned on getting this carried away but ...... where do you stop?? LOL
Awesome! Bet you're gonna have fun with this!
Having lots of fun just building it and searching out parts....

little update.... got my front and rear bumpers from ScalerFab this morning and mounted them up over lunch. Look great! couldn't be happier. Also installed my own custom made rock sliders that come all the way out and help protect the edge of the running board.

@cdstatz That bumper looks great! Really nice job on the skid plates, looks like a perfect fit. 😍
thanks.... the only skid plates I could find were for the cab only so I had to make my own. I think they turned fairly nice.. some of the bolt hole needed tweaked some. We'll see how well these hold up....
