Hey folks. I'm just getting back into rc cars again...Picked up a 3.3 nitro 4-tec. This thing will not stick with rubber tires and it eats them rather fast..Want to go with a 35 shore front foams and 45 rears. Will this setup hook better than rubber tires?

This is a brand new...fairly smooth sealcoated parking lot...very flat

than they should have better grip then the rubber tires and last a little longer. how do u like the 4tec? does it have good handeling for just parking lot bashers

After ALOT of playing with this car. I am able to hold it pretty fast. Rubber tires are just blistering off though..I think alot of people down the tec because they bought a fast car because it was fast...and did not have the skill to tune and or drive the tec.

Well I ran my foams tonight...They show little wear after a couple of tanks..And they hook like glue..Gonna be smokin em tommorow. Anyone who has the tec...Foam will get ya home...With proper setup of course.:first_place:

I have driven the 4-tec 3.3 in a huge parking lot (with foams) and you are correct it is insane fast. I really don't like having it coming towards me....it's knowing if that sucker hits ya.....be prepared for a shattered foot/ankle combo. One of the few on-roads I actually had fun driving.

thats good, maybe i need to get some foams fir my hpi evo+ because it goes through rubber tires pretty quick 2..
