Hi,

That's the set up i have
3pk with Kyosho Kanai - OS VZ21

Just wondering what settings u guys are using on the 3pk - just thought i'd ask seeing as all i'm using is the servo travel and exponential. I'm even thinking of putting the expo on ++++.

Does anyone use ABS. If so, what settings.

Also, any other settings/mixes that may be used by some drivers.

The 3pk has 3 menu's and is quite a complex radio. I fly heli's, and ythis is just as complicated as the 9chp.

I use the defaults on the ABS and so far it works fine.

The expo hasnt seemed to make a dramatic difference so I've dropped it. If I raced my on-road or any of my rides on a track, I may find it of more value.

Are you running the HRS system?

just use default, until u know what ure doing, dont mess with it too much

I messed with my steering on my new radio. Long story short, buggy smashes into curb at 35 mph, only $25 worth of damage tho

Yes, i use the HRS - it's pretty good, because the servo's move faster. Its like a standard radio on about 35% nitro,

The battery drain is pretty significant.

So other than the ABs, and other hints. There's 3 menu's, and i'm sure they can be used for something. Seems like an expensive radio features are being wated.

But if the point is - just leave it. I get it. Probably better to focus on the car setup.

Just as a sideline - a ran my buggy today I'd stioffdened the shocks by adding spacers. The car tended to kick out in the rear when i drove the boot into the throttle. A friend at the track said my shocks were too stiff, so i removed the spacers, and the kanai handled alot better.

Also with the VZ, 2 gallons and its still running okay - thank god. I was running 10%. I found that i had to really lean it out to get the mother to move. I've just started to run 20% - MAn i've got a new engine, I had to wind the neddle valve out almost a whole turn so that i could drive the boot in at full throttle. I've got that fat lady mill really singing now.

Then i did a cartwheel (which is what i'm good at) and the front drive bone-left- snapped in a really awkwartd position. Lucky my mate had a 7.5 dogbone and collar to get me running again. Lucky i've ordered some replacements from tower about a week ago - shopuld receive them by new year- international Aus.
