Alright guys I'm under a budget so i want a off-road vehicle thats fast, reliable, cool looking, and nitro, do you people have any advice?

Oh that looks sweet but what about that engine, and are st fun?

nofx - the .12 engine by team associated is amazing. i recently got outrun by one with my CV-R so i know they can produce when tuned properly. ST's are great! i love mine. i had RC10GT for a while, took it to the bash in New York. Lots of pics of it in my gallery. Ask MCvickj, Christian, WoodiE, Msly, Imbroken, and Darthracer about it. they saw it in action. 8th scale buggies are more fun, but way out of your price range. The good thing about the RC10GT, is that if u ever want to race later on, u can, its ready to go.

Word to NA on the fast RC10GT. I may even pick one up someday. Check www.rc10.com for factory refurbished kits!!

sounds cool, well I'm goin to my lhs so i will look and get my money to buy.

how about the xxxnt

Yeah NA's RC10GT was crazy. It was taking the same jumps as the buggies and MT's and kept on asking for more. Of course NA did have a problem with his pipe. ;) But that was more of a user problem than the RC10GT :) You can't go wrong with the xxxnt either. I was able to see one of the RTR models and the stock engine is fast! They can take just as much abuse as the RC10GT. You will be happy with either one.

cool i plan to bash where theres a little water and tall plants and dusty dirt, is all that ok for the rc10 gt?

What fuel do you recommend for the rc10gt & how fast does it go, and does it have good lowend power?:snowman:

nofx - the losi xxxnt is just as good of a truck, but alot more money. that is why i didnt recommend it. it was out of your price range.

u say water???? no...bad water, bad.

use whatever fuel u like. its a personal opinion.

speed varies with tuning, and gearing, but most stadium trucks go about 40-50mph.

I use O'donnell 20%. I would guess it goes around 35 MPH. From what I saw at the bash it seemed to have nice low end. NA might be able to give you better specifics on it.

Oh because i need it to get throug like 2 feet high weeds will it do it?

nofx, ST's arnt really made to go through stuff like that. they are better suited for short, mowed grass or dirt. i wouldnt recommend it, but they will go through it.

Weeds that are 2 ft tall? Wow. I think you would find that the ST would have problems getting thru that. Where do you plan on running this?

well theres a ditch so when it rains it givews the weeds water, but there a place where we used to play football, so ill do it there:fro:

I mean will it go through the weeds incase i get it in there!

Sure it will go threw those .. but you are looking at heating the engine while trying to push it threw something that is trying to hold it back .. like mentioned above this is a great truck and it is ment for being able to run threw bumpy low grass or dirt.. this is not a rock climber.. but it could be with the right hop ups.. a lift and some bigger tires .. this truck has the right torque for it ..

trust NA and the others.. You will enjoy it..

I just got a RC10GT PLus of ebay brand new for 225.00 so its in your budget, its a great truck, right out of the box it cranks with 2 pulls of the handle. Make sure you break it in right and it will provide many afternoons of bashing fun.

On that weed issue don't count on it making it through that! I took mine to the BMX track the other day and caught major air, ilanded great everytime, sometimes a little bottoming out but would keep right on trucking to the next jump, Great truck once again you wil have loads of fun with it!
