AJ thanks for sharing your build, I want to build one myself, but the stock dried up just before Christmas and they are still out. I noticed you went with a 680KV motor, have you been able to verify top speed with GPS? I'm guessing you have great temps with the lower kv. Have you considered changing anything in way of gearing or KV or does it land in your ideal zone as is?

PS sweet rig, you did a great job on it.

For this build I went 650KV. 680KV is in my DBXL-E 2.0.
I have been waiting to pick up another roller myself as I’d like to have another one with a different setup. Unfortunately the drought for stock is still ongoing…
I have not verified top speed yet as I’ve only had it out once (yesterday) for its shake down run/maiden voyage. I will say it absolutely RIPS on 12s. The motor got a tad warm, if I change anything I’ll just drop a few teeth on the pinion gear. Besides that I absolutely love it!
