First off, the 3 speed conversion is AWESOME! Wheelys are uncontrolable, top speed is scary :whhooo:, and it sounds great! Just curious, is there any way to adjust when it shifts into second or not?

There's one shift point that can be adjusted through the rubber plug, but I don't remember which one it is. To adjust the other one requires a trans tear down to adjust it from the inside.

I know you can adjust it from second to third through the tranny case cause i have been messing with that. But I'm trying to remember if the second gear clutch holder had an adjustment or not?

Yes it does, but it's only accessible by opening the trans. You'll need to make note of whether you want it sooner or later, then change it by about a 1 hour increment.

If you have the old trans case that makes you take the truck apart and the trans completely out, get the new X style case that allows you to take the top off. Since you will have it apart anyway, spending the $ and getting the newer case will make for easier future adjustments.

As rolex said, there is an adjustment for 1->2, just requires you to take the thing apart.

I have the x chassis so the top of the case comes right off. But Ill probably wait and adjust it over the winter.
