took the nephew out for a crawl today, we didnt make it far before we burnt a servo and flooded a reciever lol
but we had fun for the hour or so we were able to trail.
went up and down some steep hills, and founda mud bog to get stuck in, was a blast
o yeah i also swapped out the rims and tires on the bronco

Video is private. Drowned recievers suck. I put a traxxas revirver box on my 450 so It doesn't happen again. 🤣😆

If i ever leave for an extended time I'm leaving you to take care of my cars. All the way to the mud spa. 🫠🙃

Wish I had a mud hole like that. I gotta use ponds that are drying up.

i had to walk in the lake to get some of the mud off, and STILL had to drive wifes car home barefoot, wasn't catching that hell no sir.
he was in a hurry, hes an only child so gets a little jealous when another kid is doing our stuff so he likes to take the lead and book it to show them how its done lol

well the bronco doest want to start, instead of hitting power for 1 second and it firing up i gotta hold it down for 5 then it just flashes. I'm thinking i just flooded the reciever and dont have time right now to swap it out and see if that fixes it. it just went thru some thick mud. only thing i can figure is recievers full of mud.
hoping to get it fixed before btc, but if not thats ok.

muddy mess right now, rest of the trucks nice and clean tho

My morning was 3 out, 3 carried back to the car.
Just getting out with the trucks makes it worth it. Sounds like you had a good time.
nice!! we always break something lol, makes it fun when we get home, now the repaigrades start!
its about the tripp for us, the breaking is just additional fun. like flavor crystals for our trucks lololol

my sons axial basecamp we got him at last years btc has been a complete beast, he has only broken 1 part, but hes broken that part 3 times requiring 3 axle swaps lol. he hits things at too high a speed and snaps his panhard mount, on factory axle its all one plastic piece. told him next time we are gonna get him some aluminum axles. see if those last him anylonger.
but that thing is an awesome truck for him.
the few basic upgrades but a beast

How did you get so much mud in the receiver box? Aren't they supposed to be water proof?

Allegedly lol
Apparently not so much when missing part
There's a door? That flaps over the wires and mine is missing. I forgot about it being missing when I told the nephew to go as hard as he wants
My mechanic is to blame 100%

I need some conformal coating. My others I used liquid etape
I forgot to do that with this receiver like a dumb

I'm gonna guess that a little rubber flap wasn't gonna keep all that muck out!
Looks like it was worth it tho. What a fun way to kick off spring!!! 😁
