I have a JR XR2i with a R125 RX. Over the past week it has just died. Nothing works with it. The batteries, servos, and the radio are all fine, I tested them out on another system. But nothing happens when I turn everything on. Anyone ever have this problem? Any suggestions?

If you tested everything on another vehicle, then I would suspect some sort of a pinched wire or short circuit in the original vehicle. If everything works when installed in Vehicle A, but doesn't work in Vehicle B, then there is something specific to Vehicle B causing the problem. It could be wires jammed under RX box, or snagged in servo linkage. Look around carefully. I have had this problem a few times. I am much more careful about routing my wires now.

I should of refrazed that. The servos and battery was tested on another vehical to make sure they work. I didn't use the R125 RX when I tested them.

Well then, simply substitute a different RX. If that fixes it, then you know it's the RX. I have had way too many RX problems, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's bad.

You can test for vibration sensitivity by turning on RX and then tapping on RX box. If the servos move at all, then you have a vibration sensitive RX. The problem will be greatly amplified with the engine running, but this does not sound like your problem.

I've been having problems with my RS300, and recently toasted a JR NES-something steering servo that I need to send back to JR. Anyone have the 800 # for them? Are they going to give me crap if I can't find my receipt?
