3.3 piston skirt breaking

I'm another one that has been very lucky with TRX engines, they always run pretty good for me. I find that sealing them is the trick to getting good power out of them without the high temps.

I have seen the Novarossi 2.5 run against 3.3's and they are close in power, the 2.5 seemed a little stronger on the bottom with the 3.3's having the edge on the top end. The Novarossi also uses turbo plugs at twice the price of regular plugs.

That OS 21 on the other hand will toss that Revo around like a rag doll, it is a beast in a Maxx or Revo! If your getting into that price range the OS is the way to go IMO.

Amain my friend, I picked the novarossi up for my slayer build for $148 shipped
To be honest with you I think the os is a bit overrated I have 1 in a maxx and while its a marked improvement over the 3.3 its not by anymeans a pure hp monster its just a lot better quality wise and I'm happy with it
can't wait for the nova to rock up , and turbo plugs last way longer than std ones too

What the hell is up the postal system i have been waiting for ever for the last 2 bit for my slayer build one from amain but that has been about 3 weeks but the one from dollarhobbies has just ticked over 4 weeks today.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I emailed them last night and now they are saying it can take up to 8 weeks!! Wtf

You must live outside of the US for it to take that long! If you are customs has a way of slowing things down when they feel like it. At one time I was shipping a lot of things outside of the US, sometimes to the same person and the shipping times were always crazy. One package took 6 days to get to Australia, same size box going to the same address sent the exact same way took 4 weeks. It's not always the shippers fault. For me Australia and Korea were the worst.

Haha bloody australia, its not like we are a third world country or some thing customs here is so stupid its not funny, its a set of arms ffs
A while ago my brother and I bought 2 rc tanks that shoot bb pellets, customs let my bros through no problems mine got ripped apart, pellets confiscated and I got a written warning for trying to import illegal weapons

haha i asked the same thing,not to run a ez start but a trx pull start like the rest of my rigs,i may have to look at something as i dont know how long i will be bothered carrying around my drill everywhere lol

Just received the nova this evening and all I can say is Wow what a magnificent piece of italian engineering, absolutely everything is included even that starter shaft and everything just fitted up perfectly.the only problem I may have is the rear wheel hitting the muffler but I guess it is designed for a revo probably not a slayer but I will get over, just a bit of a perfectionist lol
Its a bit too late here now to start breaking her in , , hopefully I get an early day tomorrow and start then
