2wd Traxxas slash vxl-3 esc w/ 3500kv gearing

Setting up for a friend a 2wd Traxxas slash vxl-3 esc w/ 3500kv motor and looking at what gearing to try. He is a newbie and only experience is with an axial deadbolt and wants something speedy.

I remember reading way back about converting pinion/spur from 48p to 32p. I think it is a jato spur or something. Could someone help point out some part numbers that would work for this?

Looks like just a 32p jato spur and 32p emaxx pinion should work.
