Hello guys, I was just scrolling through a Dutch online marketplace and came across a TRAXXAS XO-1 for sale. It's advertised for €175, which is basically the same price in dollars. There is already a bid of €225.
It is pretty close to where I live, and I could easily pick it up tomorrow, but I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not. I'm curious what you guys think.

Also, I'm not looking for an XO-1 or anything, it just came up on my homepage since I just look at all random RC cars on there.
So, what do you guys think? Is it worth it for €225? Should I go and pick it up tomorrow? Or what price would you think is reasonable for this car?

Is it clean? Looks to be but if it hit a few curbs at 90, I might pass.
Do you have a place to run it?
If you can enjoy it enough to justify the expense, go for it!
I am JUST starting into onroad 1/10 scale and these questions crossed my mind buying used too.
Good luck!!! 😉👍

YES. Just the electronics cost that much.
Ah yes, hadn't even considered that. I could also just take out the eletronics for something else and sell the chassis as a roller again. Options to consider...

Looks to be in good condition. I would pull the trigger but then I'm really impulsive on stuff like that.

Description is pretty terrible, so the only info I have is the pictures basically. A place to run is a bit of an issue... As I replied to Luke, I could just take the electronics and sell the chassis as a roller again...

I really got to think about it for a bit longer. The more I think about it, the more it is starting to feel like it might be one of those impulsive purchases that I might regret later...

Also, what do you guys think a roller is worth? Maybe selling the chassis is the way to go for me...

Doesn't seem like a bad deal although it's a V1 XO-1 so it might not handle very well but maybe opening up the diffs and changing the fluids to the new V2 ones which are 500k front and 100k rear might make it handle better. Make sure you have a good place to run it even if you'll be street\parking lot bashing with it i've been driving mine on the street in front of my house. But overall looking at this one it might not be a bad purchase for 225 so far but just don't expect it to handle like an Arrma Felony or Infraction. These cars at least in the US retail for $750 these days new btw.
I don't buy cars gor parts generally speaking. I feel like theres enough out there.
I buy a car because I love it and want to run it or shelve it.
They are supposed to be crazy fast! @CJSRCLIFE would be a lover of this car I bet! 👍
I would although i still need to fix mine or maybe do the switch to a new RTR (Still an option). I love these cars but they aren't very durable and they don't handle very well compared to the 1\7 Arrma on roads like my Felony or an Infraction or Limitless.

I definitely know quite a bit about these cars thanks to Rhouse21 RC Physics and other RC Tubers with these cars who know a lot about tuning them and getting to hit 100+Mph and be enjoyable to drive.

One thing i forgot to ask @JerreThijn , is this XO-1 listing an Auction or Buy now? Cause i know that on eBay in my country the US used XO-1 range from from $500 to 700 depending on if they're all stock with or without batteries. I would go for it if it's still available and if you can find somewhere to run it as i said before i love these cars for their design and reputation for being the world's first 100+Mph RTR RC supercar.
