I had just opened my rustler its a christmas present and i was wondering if the 22 tooth cb required anything further like on it says #4611 bearings but should i just wait till mine blow or sieze to get new ones idk i think i am going to wait a while any ways on installing it but i would like to know if anyone has just installed it without those and if so any problems?

My guess would be that if it recommends a bearing that the bearing it recommends is required for fit, not performance.

If I remember correctly, the t-maxx 20-22T used one size while the 18T used a different size... but it's been a long time.

The rustler comes stock with the 20/70 gearing, so i believe the bearings are the same, but i dont know for sure.

nope the 22 tooth clutch takes bearings that are like 11mm, they are identical to the wheel bearings.
